Inspection Report for Fiberglass Shower Tray

Increasing needs for fiberglass shower tray in UK and US – specially designed for the elder and the disabled.

Thousands pieces of fiberglass shower tray are loaded today and will be shipped to UK next Monday(May,16^th,2016), including 523pcs of 1300x800 and 495pcs of 1200x1200 (40HQ). This is the followed second container after the first 20ft shipped by end of April. All these are made via compression molding(630 ton compression machine) process, made from SMC material, which is much stronger than normal ceramic or acrylic. Also, the SMC material we use for such shower tray is with zero shrinkage, this ensures better flatness (+/-1mm) which is of great importance to ensure no leakage.

Each piece of fiberglass shower tray is checked before they go into the container, this is what we do before every container leaves. It’s time-consuming but quite necessary as we must make sure all problem are noted and controlled here, instead of finding any quality problem by customer when goods arrive at the destination. For this product, final inspection including: surface(especially the honeycomb ribs on the back surface), flatness, loading capacity etc. Our colleague from technique department will send an email for all details including pictures for carton packing, pallet packing and also the container layout, this helps the customer to better recognize from the part number and do the unloading into their warehouse.
